Madrid Engineering Group (MEG), Inc., Bartow, Fl. was retained by Florida Farm Bureau Insurance to perform a comprehensive subsidence investigation to determine if damage of this property was caused by sinkhole activity. It is the professional opinion of MEG that the resulting damage is a combination of densification of loose surficial sand and  normal shrinkage of masonry material. Also, several depressions in yard are karst related solution chimneys. Therefore, ongoing sink hole activity cannot be ruled out. Recommended remediation: Fill and pressure grouting using 1755 feet of grout casings with approximately 235 cubic yards of grout.
